Floating shelf – Wooden shelf – Shelf with sides

Floating shelves; a brand new design from One Wood Project which combines different types of wood, our favourite Baltic birch plywood for the hexagon shaped sides and reclaimed pinewood for the shelf surface. Pinewood makes the shelf lightweight yet durable. Shelves are coated with Jacobean dark oak coloured oil and transparent matte varnish for extra coverage and protection. The hexagon sides are coated with our favourite mahogany Danish oil. We love the contrast between the two colours and the combination of the two types of wood. The geometry is the meeting point of the hexagon sides and the shelf with geometric ends. All these features create a modern yet rustic interior style.

Height of hexagon: 20cm approximately (hexagon side is 14cm).
