Crochet wave stripe bag with flower applique

Description

Standout from the crowd with a one of a kind unique bag
Bag is unlined and open at the top
20cm high (not including strap) 18cm wide. Strap 115cm long
Made using approximately half 100% cotton yarn and half 50% bamboo viscose 50% cotton yarn

Suitable to take dog walking, on your holidays or for short walks etc.

The strap was crocheted separately before being sewn onto the bag
Due to nature of fabrics used this bag is suitable for hand washing only

I first started crochet in January 2021 and really liked the idea of making something unique. Having made a basket and several hats I decided to make a bag
I wanted to use the plain colour with the print but not do bog standard stripes so did the wavy stitch
The flower applique is a design I found on the internet.
This project took several weeks to complete
