THIS IS NOT FOR SALE. I am a needle felt artist. I use wool as my paint and a special barbed needle to stab the wool onto the background material. I make to order using a customer’s photo. I hand blend the wool and layer to achieve the ultra realistic effect you see here.
This is an example of the sort of portrait you could have made for you from your pet’s photo. Here is the list of items you could also have a portrait made into. You can have various sizes ranging from £80 for an 6 x 6 inch going up to £240 for canvas frames and hoops. I also offer other sizes which you can ask about. You can also have memorial portraits featuring your pet’s fur made into a heart and then you can have it in a frame with your pets photo, name and a touching phrase or saying. You can have your items framed. I have various frames, contact me if you would like this option. This would incur an extra cost.
I can incorporate pet fur into the portrait, either mixed with wool or made into a little heart and put inside the portrait. This will increase the price of the portrait slightly as pet fur is harder to felt than wool. Contact me if you would like this option.
Please note there is a 6 – 8 week timeframe. This depends on how many portraits I have on my waiting list. If you have a specific date that you would like the portrait for, please contact me ASAP and I will try my utmost to accommodate any special requests
