Big Ben fused glass art

Description

A simple and elegant kiln-carving depicting Big Ben (the Elizabeth Tower) and part of the Houses of Parliament, presented in a sapele wooden stand. This item is a unique one-off, handmade by me.

Kiln-carving is a technique whereby the design is carved into the back of the glass during firing. This glass is clear with a slightly blue tinge, and the piece catches the light beautifully from different angles.

Approximate overall dimensions (including stand): width 10.5cm x height 11.5cm x depth 2.8cm.

All of my packaging is reused and/or recyclable.

Fused glass is an art form and includes natural variations in the glass, including small blemishes and variations in size.
