Description
The region of Catalonia in Spain has a long history of beautiful tile and mosaic work, and the work of its most famous son, Antoni Gaudí, can be seen throughout Barcelona. It was on a visit to Gaudí’s Park Guelle that I was inspired to explore mosaic style beadwork and beaded earrings.
Beaded by hand using the Square Stitch technique, these popular earrings are very strong and durable. Finished with sterling silver or rolled gold ear wires these delightful and unique earrings will brighten your jewellery box for years to come

*Gold-filled is described as a layer of solid 14K gold which is permanently bonded to a base metal (usually brass) and must comprise 5% of the weight of the item. Gold filled is the next best thing to gold and is far more durable than gold-plated. It won’t peel or flake (unlike gold plate) making gold-filled ear wires suitable for those with metal allergies. It’s also more affordable!
