Description
This planner gives you some planning options to help you get organised for your children going back to school and for the weeks/months after that. Plus some activities they may enjoy when getting ready to return to school.
Many people associate ‘being organised’ with strict routines and a lack of flexibility. That’s not the case. I find that by being organised I can be more flexible and adapt to the day-to-day challenges that crop up in the life of a busy parent.
In this planner, there are different formats and ways of planning for you to try and find what works for you. For example, I find the daily planner useful for time blocking my day. I work from home so it is easy to merge work and mum tasks, but with time blocking a can focus on one task at a time and organise my day to fit the essentials in. Also, the 3 priorities are key for me to actually get things off my to-do list and done. I also always have a meal planner on the go so I know what to shop for, which means less food waste, and whoever ends up cooking/prepping knows what the plan is.
Does this mean every day goes to plan? Or that I stick to it rigidly? No.
Life happens but it’s easier to adapt and make changes when you know what was supposed to be happening. If something came up you can quickly deal with that and move on.
