500 Original Pen & Watercolour Paintings

Description

This is your opportunity to acquire a reasonably priced original pen and watercolour painting.

Your painting will be supplied flat, unmounted/unframed and protected in safe/secure packaging. I use ‘Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For’ for UK destinations and Royal Mail International Standard for elsewhere.

Please be aware that colours viewed on your screen may differ slightly from those of the actual painting due to different screen manufacturers and settings.

Currently available original watercolour paintings are:

501 – Lindum Books shopfront, Lincoln, UK – £35

Nestled on the historic Bailgate in Lincoln’s Cathedral Quarter, Lindum Books provide a well-run and well-focused independent book shop.

The dimensions of the painted area are approx 9.0″ x 6.0″ on “The Langton” cold pressed 300gsm paper. I used Derwent fine liner pens and Winsor & Newton professional watercolours with some finishing touches using white acrylic and Tombow brush pens.

502 – Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada – £65

Peggy’s Cove is famed for its picturesque and typically East-Coast profile, with houses perched along a narrow inlet and on wave-washed boulders facing the Atlantic. Although this unique environment has been designated a preservation area, it is still an active fishing community.

The dimensions of the painted area are approx 12.5″ x 8.5″ on Saunders Waterford Hot pressed 300gsm paper. I used Derwent fine liner pens and Winsor & Newton professional watercolours with some finishing touches using white acrylic and Tombow brush pens.

This is a stunning painting (even though I say so myself)

504 – Gold Hill, Shaftesbury, UK – £50

Gold Hill is a steep cobbled street in the town of Shaftesbury in the English county of Dorset. The view looking down from the top of the street has been described as “one of the most romantic sights in England.”

It has often been used as a setting for film and television, e.g. it is the main setting for the 1973 “Boy on Bike” television advertisement for Hovis bread, which has been voted Britain’s favourite advertisement of all time.

505 – Exmoor Scene, England, UK – £30

Exmoor is an area of hilly open moorland in west Somerset and north Devon in South West England. It is named after the River Exe, the source of which is situated in the centre of the area. This scene is from the northern edge of the Moor.
